AMERICAN CLAY
American Clay Natural Earth Plasters bring the appealing finishes
of Nature to your Home, Office, School, Business, anywhere you want
to add healthful beauty to your interior walls and ceilings.
Manufactured in and using materials from the United States,
American Clay uses natural clays, recycled and reclaimed aggregates,
and vibrant natural pigments in each of our
three beautiful finishes:
™
Our original plaster, Loma™ provides a surprising range of textures for interior walls. While always serving as a basecoat for all three of our Premier Plasters, LOMA™ as a final finish brings a finely honed polish to any wall surface. With a slight change in technique, LOMA™ produces sophisticated depth reminiscent of suede, whisper- subtle matte elegance, or rustic organic surfaces with true tactile appeal. LOMA™ is the easiest of our three Premier Plasters to apply either with a trowel or spray on application.
™
Our smoothest plaster provides the artisan with an opportunity to create traditional opulent Old World marble smooth surfaces. Capturing the architectural wonder and durability of Venetian lime plasters, PORCELINA™ lends a silky polished sheen to once bland wall surfaces without the laborious and hazardous sanding required of acrylic/lime and gypsum finishes. It’s decidedly epic—whether applied with a sleek hard- troweled finish, burnished for greater depth or layered, blended with color and waxed ---PORCELINA™ is the answer for elegant Italianesque or Contemporary walls.
and
™
The strongest of our three plasters, MARITTIMO™ draws its’ beauty and charm from the Mediterranean villages of Morocco and the playfulness and color of the Caribbean islands. Crushed shell aggregates give it strength. It is the shell itself that provides the speckle that adds depth and subtle sheen to any interior environment. Somewhat reminiscent of the ancient shell terrazzo floors of Italy and Egypt, MARITTIMO™ brings a soft patina that envelops a room with exquisite beauty. When reworked with a Lexan trowel, MARITTIMO™ imparts a glow unequaled in the world of plaster.
American Clay Earth Plasters surround your family or workplace with the warm beauty of soothing texture and rich color - far exceeding the interior surfaces produced by traditional paint, stucco, or other finishes. Earth Plasters are non-dusting, mold and fade resistant, repairable and moisture controlling.
Natural Earth Plasters from American Clay are easily adapted to Do-It-Yourself projects. The Traditional and Classic method of creating American Clay surfaces is non-toxic, easy to repair, easily reworked, and exciting to learn.

ROBERT CRAY GREEN FURNITURE
Robert Craymer – furniture designer, manufacturer, living space designer and retailer has been featured in numerous magazines and TV shows such as HGTV, The New York Times and Town & Country, for his super sleek, elegant, functional designs. He is the owner of rcgreen in Los Angeles, and has been in the business of making, designing and selling furniture for more than 15 years.
Following a period of extensive research he soon realized that his past practices had ignored a sense of responsibility for the environment. The discoveries he uncovered gave him a new found respect and appreciation for the benefits of going ‘all-green’. Leading by example Craymer turned his own world upside down and instantaneously set about transforming his existing workspaces, by having all of his practices adhere to the all-green method, eliminating off-gassing, poisons, toxins and replacing these with all natural and environmentally conscious materials.
Craymer is being referred to as America’s first one stop furniture store that will design, manufacture and retail an organic and all natural “Eco” line of furniture and he is eager and willing to contribute and participate in the global fight to clean up the world and turn it “green” in the best way he knows how: by using his wide ranging expertise and knowledge in the area of manufacturing and living space design. He has found his original excitement that he felt 15 years ago when he opened his first shop on La Brea in Los Angeles with just $300 in his bank account and an offer of 15 days free rent.
The market response to rcgreen has been remarkable and the company has grown exponentially. Craymer has been commissioned to exclusively design the VIP rooms for the Oscar, Golden Globes, and Sundance Film Festival. He was asked to bring his green designs to LIVE-EARTH. Only a few people were invited to get their message heard on this world-wide event, Robert and rcgreen had the honor of being one of them. Further, Robert will be redesigning the interiors of Zen cars to make them 100% eco-friendly. His line of all sustainable poker tables was recently featured in the World Wide Poker Tournament. This year, the rcgreen line of all natural bedding, T-shirts, shoes, and watch-band is being introduced to the market.
Craymer’s vision does not stop here. This year, inspired by Bill McDonough, a pioneer in the all-green building community, Craymer is founding the first “Cradle to Cradle” © program for recycling old furniture to create refurbished all-green furniture, taking existing pieces back to their bare elements and redesigning them in the all-green method. Craymer is committed to bringing to the public an all green, all natural, sustainable and organic way of living.
